Mia Pearlman
In this series, Cut Paper, Mia Pearlman uses the materials suggested in the title to imitate nature. Her works use the elements of the site and incorporates them into her artworks. She portrays storms, skies, and wind among other things that work perfectly within the gallery space. For a snippet glance into Pearlmans frame of mind, as she states of one work,
“PENUMBRA seemingly emerges through the wall of Plaatsmaken, and eddies around the gallery space. Reflecting the dim light of the Northern European skies, it cuts through the cloudcover to reveal the occasional beam of light.”
A beautiful combination of the gallery space and her artworks. For more information on Pearlman’s work click here.
